Lineup Announced For Summer Concert Series In Madison

MADISON, CT — Madison's annual Summer Concert on the Green series is set to begin on Sunday, July 12, and the lineup of bands has been announced. See below.

The concerts, held on the Town Green, are free and will run from the 12th through. Aug. 30. All shows are scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

"Bring your own lawn chairs, and a picnic dinner if you like," officials said in a statement.

Alcohol is prohibited, as per a request by the Congregational Church, according to organizers.

The schedule of bands is as follows:

• July 12 - Avenue Groove
• July 19 - Beyond Purple
• July 26 - Best of Times
• August 2 - 1 Wild Night Bon Jovi Tribute Band
• August 9 - 4 In A Row Band
• August 16 - Jukebox 45 Band
• August 23 - Take Two And Call Me In The Morning
• August 30 - Nightshift Band
