"The time has come to start a new chapter and pass the torch to the new owner of RJ Cafe & Bistro," Campbell wrote. "The best part is you already know her! Lauren Ream has been a valuable member of our team for over 5 years and will now realize her own dream of owning a restaurant!"

RJ Cafe & Bistro serves salads, sandwiches and other bistro fare, in addition to desserts, espresso drinks, coffees and other beverages.

Campbell owned the Boston Post Road cafe for 15 years, and said it was a dream come true.

"I came across this hidden gem, and it was the perfect blend," Campbell wrote. "Over the past 15 years, this little restaurant has become so much more than a business. It has been a huge part of my life, filled with incredible memories, amazing customers, and a team that has meant so much to me. It has been a pleasure meeting and serving you all, and I will forever be grateful for everyone who supported us along the way."

Well-wishes and congratulations poured in for Campbell and Ream.

"Wow! 15 years already! I must say you did an amazing job with RJ Cafe," one former employee wrote. It was a pleasure to work for you. I wish you many years of retirement with your toes in the sand."

Added another, "Congratulations Lauren!!! I know you will shine in this position as you do in everything!!!! I'm so proud of you!! Everyone let's congratulate my niece Lauren Ream!!!"

The cafe is temporarily closed for the transition, but is expected to reopen soon.
