“I was honored to be asked to participate,” said Morgan. “Ironically, in the Internet age, one of the most frustrating aspects of the college admissions process is the overabundance of information. Families can get different, and sometimes contradictory, advice from multiple sources. In the Unigo column, students and their parents have the opportunity to read the advice of experts, consolidate it, and decide on the course of action best for their own student’s situation. It is a wonderful resource.”
Ms. Morgan has spent over 15 years in the fields of college admissions, teaching and educational planning. She holds a BA in Mathematics from Gettysburg College and a MA from Wesleyan University, in addition to receiving a certificate in College Counseling from UCLA Extension. An active member of the Board of Directors for the A Better Chance program in Madison, Connecticut, Betsy has served in the capacity as College Coordinator for the program since 2001. In 2002 she opened College Matters, LLC, an independent educational consulting practice serving the Connecticut Shoreline.
