Annual Turkey Trot in Madison to be Held on Thanksgiving Day with New Route for 5-Mile Run
The race and walk will begin and end in the West Beach area of Hammonasset Park.

The Madison Jaycees Foundation’s annual Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 27 at 10 a.m.
The 5-mile run will begin at 10 a.m. and the 2-mile walk will begin at 10:05 a.m.
The race and walk will begin and end in the West Beach area of Hammonasset Park. This year, the 5-mile course has been modified to better accommodate the runners. View the new map here.

All proceeds from the Sound Madison Turkey Trot are donated to nonprofit organizations along the Shoreline. According to a press release published in The Source, the Jaycees will be collecting nonperishable food items as well as new and used books for Read to Grow. Items may be dropped off during packet pick-up or on race day.
Packet pick-up will be on Nov. 25 and Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 36 Wall Street in Madison.

Registration for the race is $20 until Nov. 24 and is $25 thereafter.
