Back To School: Madison 2026-27 School Calendar

MADISON, CT — Back-to-school planning is well underway in Madison, with the 2026–27 public school calendar available to help parents prepare for the first day in Madison Public Schools.

The first day of school for public school students in Madison is Thursday, Aug. 27.

Below are some of the important dates heading into the upcoming school year. Some dates are subject to change:

• Thanksgiving Recess: Nov. 25 (Early Dismissal), Nov. 26 & 27
