Calendar Alert: Madison's Tree Lighting Ceremony Is Friday Night
On the Town Green at 6 p.m., tree lighting, music, and a Santa visit. Other events include Fireside Stories at Meigs Point Nature Center.
MADISON, CT — How is it already closing in on the second week of December? Blink and you'll miss all the festivities of the season.
Here are just some of the events slated in Madison:
- The Madison Beach and Recreation Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, Friday, Dec. 9 beginning at 6 p.m. by the Town Green. Lighting of the tree, music by Larry Stevens, hot cocoa from Scout Troop 490 in Madison, and a visit from Santa and Rudolph.
- Fireside Stories, Meigs Point Nature Center, at Hammonasset Beach State Park, Dec. 17
- And at the Madison Beach Hotel:
