Calling in the Owls
Join Madison Beach and Recreation for "Calling in the Owls" this Sunday at Bauer Park
Madison Beach and Recreation is offering "Calling in the Owls" on Sunday, January 21 at Bauer Park, 257 Copse Road in Madison. Fee is $5 per person and the program is recommended for adults and children 5 and older. Calling in the owls is your opportunity to dissect sterilized owl pellets to reconstruct the tiny skeletons to learn what the owl has eaten. You will also have the opportunity to "call in" the owls once it starts getting dark outside. Learn more about these stealthy birds of prey and come dressed to go outside. To register, go to madisonct.org and choose the Beach and Recreation Office. Go to Online Registration and on the front page go to the Bauer Park box and under family. It is listed on the first page. Walk-ins are welcome as long as there is still available space. Preferred method of payment for walk-ins is by check. Call the Beach and Recreation Office until 4 pm on Friday if you have questions or need help with registration at 203-245-5623.
