Campus Notes - Madison College Students

MADISON — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Goodwin College, East Hartford, CT

Madison resident Maria Mendrinos has achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average at Goodwin College for the Spring 2018 session, earning a spot on the elite President's List.

The List is the highest academic honor roll at Goodwin College, a nonprofit school that believes that all students are capable of great success academically, professionally, and in their personal lives. Students like Maria exemplify the rigorous work ethic and commitment to education it takes to succeed in higher education.

Goodwin College extends its congratulations to Maria for such a tremendous academic achievement.To qualify for the President's List, a student must be enrolled in at least six credits at Goodwin College and earn perfect marks in all classes.

Georgia TechThe following students have earned the distinction of Dean's List at the Georgia Institute of Technology for Spring 2018. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

The following students have been selected for inclusion on the Dean's List for academic achievement during the Spring 2018 semester at St. Lawrence University.
Grace G. Adams of Madison. Adams is a member of the Class of 2020 and is majoring in history. Adams attended Daniel Hand High School.

Jonathan E. Gulcicek of Madison. Gulcicek is a member of the Class of 2021. Gulcicek attended Daniel Hand High School.

Alexandra S. Wagner of Madison. Wagner is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in mathematics and physics. Wagner attended Daniel Hand High School.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.
