The Connecticut Association of Prevention Professionals has named Madison First Selectman, Tom Banisch, as a Coalition Sector All-Star. The Connecticut Association of Prevention Professionals (CAPP) is a “statewide network of prevention advocates that identifies and spreads awareness of behavioral health trends while ensuring growth of the field and providing resources across the state.” Each year CAPP honors municipal members who have made an impact in their community and First Selectman Banisch has been recognized for his support of the MADE program and for being an advocate in the fight against legalized marijuana.

The recognition was presented to First Selectman Banisch at the CAPP Annual Meeting on Friday, October 25, 2019.
