"Many have called for a boycott. Some have suggested that my business be held up in a robbery insinuating that the police wouldn't come to help. I'm being labeled a hypocrite and a cop-hater. Many will say that I signed up for this, maybe so, but when I read that a young girl better watch her back if she's the victim of rape and then a response of "yeah, karma's a bitch", I'm truly sickened. We are better than this. The police that I know and love would never want to be represented this way and so, I just want to talk a little bit about what this bill is and what it is not and cut through the 'spin' that is being spread like a bad virus."
