Daniel Hand Fills Top 10 Spot in Latest Field Hockey Poll
The Tigers are ranked in the top 10 in the most recent field hockey coaches poll.

MADISON, CT — Seeking its third straight Class L state championship, the field hockey team from Staples High School is taking its quest seriously, outscoring opponents 37-3 over the course of six season-opening wins and earning unanimous selection as top team in Connecticut in the weekly coaches poll.
The Wreckers received the top nod from all seven coaches voting in the most recent balloting. Cheshire was second, while Wilton wound up third.
Daniel Hand High School placed 10th in the most recent balloting.
