Daniel Hand High School Ranked Among the Best in Connecticut
Niche Rankings recently released its "Best Public High Schools" list. Do you agree with the rankings?

Recently, Niche Rankings released its report on the Best Public High Schools in Connecticut, and Daniel High School made the list at number 15.
In it, Niche ranked 14,431 high schools based on dozens of key statistics, as well as opinions from 280,000 parents and students.

“A high ranking indicates that the school is an exceptional academic institution with a diverse set of high-achieving students who rate their experience very highly,” said Niche.
Daniel Hand High School received an A overall Niche grade.

Without the help of my school community, I would have never accomplished these feats.”
According to Niche.com, “According to state standards, 99% of students at this school are considered proficient in math and/or reading.”

The methodology used is explained here. A high ranking indicated that students were happy with many aspects, that the school is an exceptional academic institution, is made up of a diverse population and that students are actively involved.
