DRES PTO Thanks its Lucky Stars!

The Deep River Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization (DRES PTO) held a donor appreciation event on Monday, May 14, 2018. At this event that was held in the DRES Media Center, the PTO publicly thanked the businesses that have supported the PTO with generous donations for its fundraisers and events such as Bingo Night, Staff Appreciation Day, Box Tops raffles, and PTO meeting raffles. Without the support of these businesses, our events wouldn't be so successful!

The PTO provided each business with a certificate decorated by 6th graders at DRES and a glass star ornament donated by RiverFire Glass of Deep River, CT.

The mission of the Deep River Elementary School (DRES PTO) is to support excellence in education by promoting closer ties and communication among parents, faculty, administration, and the Board of Education. Our goal is to provide curriculum and social enrichment activities for all DRES students as well as support to the administration, faculty, and staff throughout the academic year. The PTO raises funds to support cultural arts programs at DRES, grade level field trips, field day, 6th grade promotion and more!

PTO membership is open to all parents and guardians of all DRES students as well as all DRES staff. All PTO members are welcome to attend the PTO meetings to find out more about its activities.
