Early Reports Indicate Madison Electric Car Charging Station Doing Well

After four months of operation, Madison’s electric car-charging station has shown encouraging results, Jack Kramer reports from The Source.

So far there have been 39 unique vehicles and 150 charging stations at the station located at the back of the Madison Art Cinemas.

Woodie Weiss, chairman of the Energy and Efficiency Committee told the paper that this was a good initial performance, according to the manufacturer of the station, ChargePoint.

Electric car owners can use the station by signing up for a card from the company or using the ChargePoint smartphone application.
