Eric Marsh, a sophomore at Daniel Hand High School, was joined by family, friends, and members of Troop 491 at his Eagle Scout Court of Honor held on Mother's Day at the First Congregational Church. Eric is the son of Cathy and Rockwell Marsh of Sylvan Road. Eric earned the rank of Eagle Scout in January, 2014.
Representing our State of Connecticut and the Town of Madison were State Representative Mrs. Noreen Kokoruda, State Senator Ed Meyer and Madison First Selectman Mr. Fillmore McPherson. Members of the Shoreline Greenway Trail, Eric's Eagle Service Project beneficiary, were also in attendance.
Eric presented his Eagle Mentor, Mr. Perry Rianhard, a custom made "Golden Hammer Award". Mr. Rianhard, the Trailmaster for the Madison Segment of the Shoreline Greenway Trail, helped navigate Eric, and his crew, through the construction phases of the project.
