Tide Pool Study

Explore the tide pools at West Wharf Beach and see what lives in this ever-changing environment.  Observe how animals move, eat and protect themselves, as we explore what adaptations they have in order to survive.  We will discover the similarities and differences in the animals we have found and become “junior taxonomists” by discussing where and how they might fit into groups of the classification system.  Meet on the rocks at West Wharf
beach.  Wear water shoes.  For children ages 9-12.  Rain Date is July 13.
