Event at Surf Club on Saturday Night will Impact the Park

A "Night in Hand" event for Seniors will be held at the Surf Club on Saturday night. Expect travel delays and limited parking.

A final send off event for the 2020 Graduating Class of Daniel Hand High School will be held at the Surf Club this Saturday night (July 25). The "Night in Hand" event will be using the rear to parking lots and the Garvan Point Picnic Area. Parking will be extremely limited as the only available lots that will remain, will be the first lot when you pull into the park and the grass lot near the skate park. Parking after 5 pm will be limited ONLY to those vehicles that are displaying a seasonal parking pass (an actual sticker on your vehicle), on a first come first serve basis. If you happen to arrive earlier in the day, and are in one of the rear lots, you will be asked to move your vehicle by 7:15 to a different location. We are anticipating having to turn cars away at the gate which will be manned until closing so you may reconsider plans to visit the Surf Club on Saturday night. Also due to this event, M&J Snacks will be closing early. This event is only for the students and the volunteers needed to make the event happen along with safety personnel and park staff. We wish the graduating seniors all the best and ask for your patience and cooperation for this event.
