Everlastings Is Ending And Ever Lasting
Popular Wall Street Bricks And Mortar Business Evolving To Home And Internet-Based

While the retail storefront of Everlastings will be no more as of today, Saturday, Feb. 12, Karen Brodeur's 25-year-old business will remain everlasting.
A good part Brodeur's business is silk flower design, so she will continue doing that piece. "I haven't been able to really put as much time into that effort as I would have liked to over the past couple of years, and I've got a good following and good clientele," Brodeur says.
Everlastings will live on as an in-home and online business.

"I'll just get away from the demands of running a retail. The hours have taken their toll," she said.
Brodeur says she's "particular" about the quality of the flowers she uses, so her business can be described as "using reproductions of nature's finest botanicals."

"Using high quality botanicals is really what it's all about," says the designer of arrangements, wreaths and custom designs.
"I'm going to try it and not be tied to the long hours of owning a storefront. Time to restructure!" Brodeur said.
