Facebook 101, Business Edition

With more than 500 million users, and more than 1.2 million in Connecticut alone, Facebook is a communication and marketing tool that businesses and non-profits can't afford to ignore!

Join the Madison Chamber of Commerce and Scranton Library, partnering with Miranda Creative, for a hand-on-educational program on Thursday, July 7 at 8 am in the Scranton Library Program Room. Refreshments will be available at 7:30 am. 

The 80 minute session will review:

 FB101 is for users with less than a year¹s experience or a page with less than 100 fans.

 € An overview of social media and Facebook¹s position of the market

 € Comparison of Profiles/Pages/Causes/Groups, selecting the right option

 € Best practices for privacy, security and postings

 € Username/Page Titles, how to achieve them

 € Uploading photos/videos

 € Making use of notes/events and other standard tools 

 € Introduction to Facebook advertising
