School Buses In Madison Impacted by Fallen Trees: UPDATE

UPDATE: Afternoon school buses will be running late today. The storm has closed four roads in town and the bus company is currently re-routing the afternoon runs. The closures are located on Opening Hill near Eastwood, Overbrook near Route 79, Route 1 at Copse Rd, and Summer Hill at Route 80. These closures may have an effect on many of our bus routes, school officials said.

MADISON, CT — As of 9:17 a.m. there are 650 locations without power in Madison. There is a tree down on the Boston Post Road which is affecting power to several neighborhoods downtown, including to Town buildings. Memorial Town Hall is closed, including the Youth and Family Services offices.
