True Bikram is a perfect place to talk about her work because “yogis are usually on a path to expressing the best version of themselves,” Filloramo said

“They want to get centered and live happy,” she said. “My services are about transforming a person from the inside-out so that they can shamelessly and confidently express the highest version of themselves to manifest health, wealth and happiness.”

Filloramo says her goal is to help people get unstuck “through discovering and discarding the inner demons and emotional obstacles that keep you stuck. As a result, you can be happy on the journey to living up to your potential and making a difference.”

Also on Saturday, True Bikram owner Robin Brace, from Guilford, will be on hand, along with others from True Bikram to talk about how Bikram Yoga contributes to weight loss and general fitness results that you can achieve at a gym, but with more efficient results, in a simpler model.

“We combine the motivation of the personal training experience, the social experience of the gym and the stress relief and mental clarity that takes it from a fitness regime to a lifestyle of health and wellness,” Brace said.

Bikram Yoga is a demanding series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises, suitable for all ages and levels of ability. Each posture stretches, strengthens and prepares specific muscles, ligaments and joints for the next posture. The Bikram method also stimulates the organs, glands and nerves, moving fresh oxygenated blood to 100% of the body, restoring all systems to a healthy working order. Bikram scientifically designed this 90-minute program to deliver total health through the balancing and strengthening of every system in the body in order to prevent illness, injury, promote weight loss and limit the effects of aging. The series of postures combine skills of concentration, patience, determination and self-control which increase mental clarity and reduce stress. Bikram Yoga is practiced in a heated room to warm your muscles, allow a deeper workout and cleanse the body by flushing toxins.
