Gallery One CT Presents “The Art of Contemplation” Exhibition
On View at the Mary C. Daly Art Gallery from June 21 – August 18, 2024
The Art of Contemplation exhibition features work by accomplished Gallery One CT artists that reflect life experiences and creative contemplation. The artists use elements of texture, color and symbols that add layers of meaning to their work. This multi-media exhibit is hosted by the Mary C. Daly Gallery at Mercy by the Sea and includes paintings, collage, mixed media and photography.
“In our modern faced-paced world, experiencing art can help us slow down. Art can offer the gifts of imagination, creativity and quiet reflection,” said artist Rick Silberberg.
“Creating and viewing art invites contemplation. We hope the exhibit creates visual connections and dialogue that spark contemplation and insights,” said artist Diana Rogers.
