By Jack Kramer Correspondent MADISON, CT – Temperatures are supposed to be near 80 degrees on Tuesday but if you are thinking to heading to Hammonasset Beach State Park to take advantage, you may want to take your time. The main entrance gate at Hammonasset Beach State Park will be closed for a few hours Tuesday morning for paving of the entrance and exit roads. Gates will be closed until noon – the Shoreline Greenway parking lot on Route 1 will remain available for visitors to utilize during the morning.
