Hand Claims Seventh Straight SCC Gymnastics Championship

Abby McGuirk won three events and earned Most Outstanding Performer honors in leading the Hand gymnastics team to its seventh straight Southern Connecticut Conference championship with 137.35 points.

Jonathan Law finished second with 130.55 points, while Hamden was third (111.4), Foran was fourth (79.05) and North Haven rounded out the top 5 with 54.45 points.

McGuirk won the all-around with 37.2 points, the beam (9.5) and bars (9.2). She also finished second in the vault (9.35) and third in the floor (9.15).
