Heavier Than Normal Traffic Expected At Madison Site Over Weekend
The Madison Beach and Recreation Department has issued an advisory.
MADISON, CT — The Madison Beach and Recreation Department is warning residents that Saturday, June 6, could see heavier than normal traffic at the Surf Club.
"Please be advised that, due to several sporting events throughout the day and hot weather, the Surf Club is expected to have heavier traffic than normal tomorrow, Saturday, June 6, 2026," officials wrote in a statement. "Residents should exercise caution when entering the park and expect delays."
Officials remind residents that "both e-bikes and regular bicycles must stay on the roads, and are not permitted on areas that are not a dedicated roadway, including, but not limited to, the fields, picnic areas, grass, and playgrounds."
