Iconic Comedy Actor Dines At Madison Restaurant

The famous television and movie star has reportedly visited Connecticut numerous times.

MADISON, CT — Comedy legend Chevy Chase was recently back in Connecticut, and swung by one of Madison's favorite haunts.

Cristy's Madison this week posted photos on its Facebook page of the actor mingling with staff at the restaurant. See below.

"We had the absolute honor of hosting and serving the one and only icon, Chevy Chase!" the restaurant wrote. "Thank you for choosing Cristy's, and we hope to see you again soon!"

Chase is no stranger to Connecticut.

Last year, the "Fletch" actor, who starred in the 1980s hit, "Caddyshack," stopped by the Canaan-based miniature golf and entertainment venue Caddie Shack, and also paid a visit to Lyman Orchards in Middlefield view a mural.

Chase has reportedly also been spotted in Stamford, Greenwich and other parts of the state in recent years with his daughters.

His career was also the subject of the recent CNN Films documentary, "I'm Chevy Chase and You're Not."
