Joanna Sponzo, Management + Sponzo Properities, on Holidays
Joanna Sponzo shares some of her favorite things to do each holiday season.

As the holidays are underway, everyone tries their best to get as much festive fun in as possible before the new year, but with so many things to do, where do you start? Find out what your friends and family are into, and pick from this list of fun holiday activities and spirited things to do together.
Mail a letter to Santa
This holiday festivity is always a favorite if you have small children. Being able to mail a letter to Santa will put everyone in the Christmas spirit, as they sit around and write down all the things that they love and hope to get. If you do not have young children any longer, it is still nice to ask Santa for things for children that you do not know. Mailing a letter in any capacity is good for the heart, sending it to Santa just makes it extra special, for everyone.
Make an ornament
Ornaments are one of those small crafts that you can keep forever. Even if it isn’t a special Christmas, it is still nice to make ornaments to remember the holiday season. This is a great craft for young children since they will be able to use the ornament year after year and maybe even start a tradition when they become older with their own families. If you have a large family, this could be an event that brings everyone together, no matter what the circumstances are.

Donate toys and time
The holidays are a time for giving, and donating both toys to children in need and your time can go along way. Making this something that your family does often will put into perspective the holiday season and take away from the hustle and bustle of receiving gifts. Not everyone in the world has it as easy as you do, so taking your time to do something nice for other people can really turn your holiday into a more giving season.
Start a new tradition
Whether it be creating ornaments or serving Christmas dinner to the homeless, the holidays are the perfect time to create a new family tradition that you can all be proud to have. With so much joy in the air, families are more likely to come together and start traditions that can be passed on between generations.
