Job And Career Fair In Cromwell Friday
Professional résumé advice offered; More than 50 companies attending including Beacon Industries, Inc., Comcast, Home Goods Distribution Center, Sonalysts, URS Corporation and Verizon Wireless; At Crowne Plaza Hotel from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

More than 50 companies will be attending the Middlesex County Job and Career fair, to be held Friday, Oct. 28 at the Crowne Plaza hotel, located at 110 Berlin Road in Cromwell. The event, which will run from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., is co-sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Labor, the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce and the Workforce Alliance Workforce Investment Board.
Members of the Labor Department’s team of Nationally Certified Professional Résumé Writers will be on hand throughout the day to review visitor’s résumés and lend advice and assistance at no charge.
Among the participating companies will be Beacon Industries, Inc., Comcast, Home Goods Distribution Center, Sonalysts, URS Corporation and Verizon Wireless.

Admission to the Middlesex County Career Fair is free, as is parking. Job seekers are reminded to bring along plenty of résumés, dress to impress, and be ready to meet on site with prospective employers.
