MADISON, CT — There are three jobs available at E.C. Scranton Memorial Library.

Facility Attendant (part-time) – two positions available

"Are you a hard worker looking to join a team that helps the whole community? The E.C. Scranton Memorial Library is looking for you. We seek two experienced facility attendants to help with daily maintenance and long-term stewardship of the Library’s newly renovated and expanded facility

The library is finishing up a 15-million-dollar expansion and renovation, updating our historic facility with the latest in technology. The library, located in Madison’s picturesque town center a mile from the beach and steps from coffeeshops, restaurants, shops, and more, will re-open in July 2020."

Administrative Assistant (part-time)

The successful candidate for this position will have outstanding interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills, enthusiasm for technology and the ability to work both individually and collaboratively. Must be detail oriented/obsessed!
Duties
• Manage the timely acknowledgement of gifts and assure that all types of donations (cash, pledges, matching gifts, and planned gifts) are properly documented
• Ensure data integrity through accurate data entry and ongoing clean-up efforts
• Assist with the production and distribution of recurring appeals and stewardship materials
• Process incoming and outgoing mail
