The Last Connecticut Civil War Commemoration

Was At Bauer Park in Madison on August 29-30th

The Final Event of the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War by The Connecticut Civil War Commemoration was made possible through the efforts of many people and organizations. For four years since the grand opening event at Central Connecticut State University, thousands of people have attended their journey to learn and teach about the state’s deep connection to America’s greatest challenge.

The event included Musket Load & Fire Competition, Regimental Drills, Guest speakers at the Amphitheater, Artillery and Cavalry Demonstration and Meet & Greet Troops in Camps.
