Lawsuit Can Be Filed Over Peeping Incident at Madison Beach
Two state employees were watching the woman take a shower through a hole in the bathroom wall at Hammonasset State Park.

An East Hartford couple, Kim and Craig Smith, received the greenlight this week to sue the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection after two state employees watched the woman take a shower through a hole in the bathroom wall at Hammonasset State Park.
The incident dates back to July 2011 but the ruling, paving the way for the lawsuit, was decided this week, reports Dave Altimari of the Hartford Courant.
In the ruling, it was decided that the couple can sue the state because it’s plausible to believe that the employees at the Madison based state park should have known of the holes in the walls of the shower stalls, and never fixed them, the Courant reports.
