Madison 2018 Budget Referendum Details
Residents will head to the polls on Tuesday.

MADISON, CT — Madison residents will vote Tuesday, May 15 on a proposed $83 million spending plan for fiscal 2018-19 that increases spending by $1.18 million or 1.44 percent, the Madison Source reports. The town operations costs are actually slightly decreasing while school spending is increasing by 2.08 percent.
If approved, the tax rate would rise by 2.7 percent, the Source reports. The average homeowner would see an increase of nearly $300 more in taxes next year.

Tuesday, May 15, 2018 is Madison's Budget Referendum. Polls are open until 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- District 1 votes at the Madison Senior Center, located at 29 Bradley Road. District 1 includes all registered voters who live at properties on the even numbered side of Green Hill Road and South.
- District 2 votes at Brown Middle School, located at 980 Durham Road. District 2 includes all registered voters who live at properties on the odd numbered side of Green Hill Road and North.
