Madison Announces Change To Thursday's School Day

Early Dismissal Today

Good morning,

As a follow up to the earlier message, our forecasts continue to indicate that snowfall is likely to begin during the middle school afternoon bus runs and intensify during the elementary afternoon bus runs. Although it is likely that the high school afternoon bus runs will be spared, given that we use the same buses across all schools, as a precaution, the entire school system will be dismissing early today. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause your family, however, there appears to be a high likelihood that a normal dismissal would put our afternoon buses in harm's way.

The Madison Public Schools will be closing early today. All afternoon and evening events are cancelled.
