Madison Artist & Resident Donates Public Mural To Be Unveiled At Surf Club

The large Madison mural will be unveiled this month as part of America 250 and Madison 200 celebrations.

MADISON, CT — A new public mural created by Madison resident Patrick Ganino is scheduled to be unveiled June 26 at the Madison Surf Club as part of the America 250 and Madison 200 celebrations, according to officials.

The unveiling is planned for 5 p.m. at the Surf Club, which is at 87 Surf Club Road in Madison.

Ganino, a nationally acclaimed muralist known for large-scale public art projects, donated the artwork to the town.

According to the announcement, the project is a personal one for Ganino, whose wife and children live in Madison.

The mural's installation coincides with local celebrations marking America 250 and Madison 200, commemorations of the nation's 250th anniversary and the town's bicentennial anniversary.
