Madison Arts Camp Seeks Young Participants
'The Barn' in Madison has opening for a week-long camp in August that emphasizes multiple artistic mediums.
MADISON — A local nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging local youths interested in the arts has openings for a week-long summer camp.
The Madison Arts Barn — or known more affectionately as "The Barn" — is a nonprofit arts organization funded by donations, government sources and other sponsor organizations, as well as participant fees, though financial assistance is always available.
This week, officials with "The Barn" said slots are open for the arts camp slated to take place the week of Aug. 8-12 this summer.

The program is open for pupils entering the third-grade this fall and older.
"Create masterpieces using different art techniques and mediums in this fun and creative camp," reads an announcement from The Barn. "It's a perfect fit for anyone who would like to sharpen their creative skills."

The Madison Arts Barn is located on the town campus at 8 Campus Drive.
