Madison Baseball 13U travel team completed their sweep of the East Shore Travel League 13U Majors championship round last night with a 7-5 victory over Stamford Legion. The Tigers had already won the ESTL American Division title in a single elimination tournament over the weekend before facing the National Division champs from Stamford. The Tigers finished the season with an overall record of 32-5-1 (0.855 winning percentage), bringing home three championships including two in ESTL and a 4-0-0 sweep of the War at the Shore tournament in June.
The players are Julian Banerji, Christopher Bartosic, Phoenix Billings, Christian Boudreau, Jake Crawford, Joey Ciotti, Kevin Girardi, Will Kleinhenz, Clayton Knibbs, Will McIntosh, Caleb Powell, Tucker Rathe, Hunter Singewald, and Kevin Tracy. The Tigers were coached by Travis LaPointe and Jake Ryder. Congratulations to the 13U Tigers for winning the first league championships for Madison Baseball!
