Madison Beach Hotel Announces Its Special 4th Of July Events

Events begin Wednesday and run through July 5. See below for all of the activities.

MADISON, CT — Madison Beach Hotel is organizing an array of summer events and activities throughout the 4th of July weekend festivities. Here is that lineup of events.


Wednesday, June 28 – 7:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

Kick-off of the 2017 Preservation Tour (5th Annual Grassy Strip Music Series)/John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band. John Mathers, General Manager of the Madison Beach Hotel will kick off the Preservation Tour by delivering the pledge of allegiance. A 16X10 American flag will float on the West Wharf for the kick-off of the Annual Grassy Strip Concert Series.

Thursday, June 29- 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

West Wharf Preservation Alliance Beach Clean-Up

The group will meet the morning after the 1st annual Grassy Strip Music concert to clean up the Wharf. Every Thursday morning all summer long organized groups of volunteers will meet at 8:00 am for coffee at the Madison Beach Hotel before cleaning the beach, parking lot and maintaining the grassy strip in its original splendor.


Sunday, July 2 – Starting at Sundown

S’mores on the Shore

Madison Beach Hotel provides the beach, the fire, and all the ingredients for s’mores. Fun for all ages. Enjoy gooey, delicious s’mores while enjoying fireside sing-a-longs!


Monday, July 3 – 9:30 p.m.

4th of July Madison, CT Fireworks

Organized by the Madison Fireworks Organization, the fireworks are visible from many waterfront locations. One of the main public viewing locations is West Wharf Beach at the Madison Beach Hotel.


Wednesday, July 5 - 7:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

The Machine performs Pink Floyd Acoustic

2017 Preservation Tour continues with a free concert on the grassy strip.

All events will take place at 94 West Wharf Road in Madison, CT.
