Madison Beach Hotel Opening Set For May 1

The plans for a May 1 opening, the New Haven Register reports.

“No one will be disappointed with rooms in this hotel,” Lou Carrier, president of Distinctive Hospitality Group, said in the article,

“We are looking to make a big statement (with) what’s behind the curtain," Carrier told The Register, referring to the white wrap that covers the exterior of the hotel.

According to the article, there will be 33 rooms, all with views of the water.

“We are 80 or 85 percent of the way done now,” Carrier said in the article, which notes that some brides-to-be have worries about the hotel being ready for their celebrations.

Carrier told The Register that he plans to have a certificate of occupancy by the third week of March.
