Madison Beach Hotel's Blues Festival Melts the Winter Blues Away

Featuring Jake Kulak and the Modern Vandals with Special Guests, Renowned Blues Guitarist Jeff Pevar

Madison Beach Hotel will once again host its highly anticipated annual Blues Festival Concert, taking place on Saturday, March 23. The event promises an unforgettable evening of soulful blues music featuring the award-winning Jake Kulak and the Modern Vandals, with special guest performance by the acclaimed New York Hall of Fame Blues Artist, Jeff Pevar.

The music-packed weekend begins Friday, March 22 at 8 p.m. with an unplugged show in The Wharf with Blues Hall of Fame guitarist-singer-songwriter and International touring and music recording artist Tom "The Suit" Forst. His unique story, which has been chronicled by Forbes Magazine, as well as by television news programs, radio, and newspapers, has included a solo album produced by Grammy winner Paul Nelson, and being inducted into the New York and Connecticut Blues Hall of Fame.

On Saturday, March 23, Madison Beach Hotel hosts a Blues Guitar Master Class with Jeff Pevar from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. The class is limited to 12 participants and may be purchased separately from the main event. Bring a guitar and notebook. $20 per person, plus EventBrite fees.

Music enthusiasts are invited to join the celebration at Madison Beach Hotel on Saturday night, where doors open at 8 p.m. The Blues Winter Concert, headlined by Jake Kulak and the Modern Vandals, winners of the 2019 Foxwoods Resort Casino "Battle of the Bands," will kick off at 8:30 p.m. and continue until 10:30 p.m. The venue, known for its intimate setting, offers general admission with limited seating, and the option to reserve a table of 10 for guaranteed seating and proximity to the stage.

Guests can also indulge in a pre-concert experience with Bourbon and Beer Sampling in the Tasting Lounge starting at 7 p.m., with the main bar opening at the same time. The event is for those aged 21 and over, with a cash bar available throughout the concert.

Parking is available, with limited self-public parking at the Shore and complimentary valet parking. For those looking to make an evening of it, dinner reservations are encouraged at The Wharf Restaurant (www.thewharfmadison.com) before the show.
