Madison Conducting Survey On Low Participation For Budget Referendum

Turnout was very, very low at the recent budget referendum.

Shared by the Office of the Madison First Selectman:

Budget Referendum Survey

The Town of Madison’s Budget Referendum was held on May 16, 2017 but only 9.2% of our eligible taxpayers cast a vote. The First Selectman would like to know why this number is so low. If you are part of the large number of people who did not vote in the Budget Referendum, please help us understand why.
Thank you for participating.
