Madison Considering Hiring a Town Manager Postion

It's one of the possible changes that could be recommended by the Charter Review Committee.

Madison officials are considering hiring a town manager to assist the first selectman with governing the town, the New Haven Register reports.

The idea of adding a town manager has come up during the town’s review of its charter, said Joan Walker, who is a selectman and chair of the Charter Review Committee.

Officials say it’s currently unclear whether they will actually seek to add a town manager position.
