Madison Couple Featured On New HGTV Show Thursday
If the show is well-received it's possible that the show could become a new series.

MADISON, CT — Connecticut's newest soon-to-be television stars are Madison residents. A local couple, Travis and Felicia Gulick, will be featured on the new HGTV television show 'Former Glory,' which airs 1 p.m. Thursday.
If the show is well-received by viewers it's possible the local couple could have their own series on the very popular television network.
The Madison couple specializes in restoring historical homes to their former glory, hence the name of the show, on the Connecticut Shoreline, the New Haven Register and Zip06.com reports. The couple lives in a 1710 house with their first child who is five-months-old.

Travis and Felicia initially met at a preservation conference in New York City, ended up dating and then getting married, the Register reports. Gulick & Co. Renovation Contractors is owned by Travis, his father and another partner and the business renovates historic homes. Travis Gulick, who is a volunteer firefighter for Madison Hose Company #1, has history in his blood as he's been working for his father's company since he was a kid, Zip06.com reports.
They filmed the show last spring. The show that is airing on Valentine's Day will center around the renovation of a downtown Guilford home that was built in 1929, the New Haven Register reports. It took 12 weeks to complete the project, which included some expansion work. Felicia was six months pregnant at the time of filming.

The Guilford home featured in the episode is owned by Mike and Stephanie and they married during filming, Zip06.com reports. Details on what happened to the home during the project need to remain a mystery until the show airs but we do know the whole house was renovated.
HGTV says this about the new show: "The stakes are high for Travis and Felicia to design and restore a multi-generational 1920s Craftsman in Guilford, CT, for a soon-to-be-married couple. Their goal is to modernize the 1,100-square-foot home, adding a new kitchen and master suite without losing any of its original charm. It's a big job with a tight budget, but the race is on for Travis and Felicia to return it to its former glory before the newlyweds return from their honeymoon."
