Family in government: Senator Chris Murphy is my cousin.

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Bring the school renewal plan and Academy School community center to referendum. Much of this was interrupted by the pandemic and needs to be brought to a vote. Let the people decide!

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I will continue to be an approachable leader, a positive public voice, and an active collaborator who is invested in making the Town of Madison a great place to live for all residents. I am not interested in playing politics. I will bring experience in program management, communications and strategic planning to ensure appropriate levels of transparency and accountability are available for the people of Madison. It is important to hold everyone accountable for decisions and work to ensure an expected outcome. Communication is paramount to the success of all efforts - we can never communicate enough to the public or with each other. I bring an action oriented mindset to help get things done.

Accomplishments:

- Worked with the town to improve ball fields and playgrounds as President of Madison Little League. - Designed Salt Meadow Park - Passed town budget each year in office - Work collaboratively on Capital Improvement Plan (members from 3 elected boards) - Advocated for public participation for Beach pass system and Academy School - Interview and appoint members of the public to boards

Other issues:

- Invest in Madison’s schools and beaches so that people will want to move and stay here. Ensure our beaches are safe and accessible for all citizens. - Listen to the ideas of residents in our community to ensure that future plans are in line with the town’s expectations, and communicate more to you about plans and progress. - Create real and meaningful economic development that fits within our town identity

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I deeply care about this town and I take this role very seriously. I want to focus on solving town challenges and not playing politics. I want to get things done that matter to you and not just to a select few!
