Madison Employees Take a Stand For Breast Cancer Awareness
The town employees found a colorful way to raise attention to the fact that breast cancer can also impact men.

A very touching move by Madison Public Works employees.
When Madison’s 30-year-old payloader in use at the Town’s Bulky Waste Site was in need of significant repairs, including a new paint job, the Public Works crew discussed what color it should be - the usual yellow or something that would make a statement?
After much discussion, the crew hit on Breast Cancer Awareness pink! They wanted to call attention to the fact that men are also subject to this illness. In particular, they noted a male Town employee had survived the disease. So, pink it is, with a portion of the paint cost to NAPA being donated to charity.
