Madison Extends Letter of Intent with Shoreline Arts Alliance: Report
Hopes of developing a cultural arts center in town are still alive.

Madison, CT - For those of you holding out hope that the former Academy School will one day be turned into a cultural arts center there is once again renewed hope.
The Madison Board of Selectmen voted this week to extend it's letter of intent with the Shoreline Arts Alliance from July 1 by another 60 days in order to allow both sides to continue negotiations on a possible lease agreement, the Madison Source reports.
The SAA and the town have had differing views regarding the structure of a potential lease and financing of the project. The Source previously reported that some developers were starting to eye the parcel and expressed interest in the land.
