Madison First Selectman Office Has A New Executive Assistant

Madison First Selectman Fillmore McPherson has a new executive assistant.

According to the Board of Selectman’s meeting minutes, Laura Rhines was hired for the position and will receive a salary of $53,350.

During the July Selectmen’s meeting, Rhines said she is looking forward to working for the town. She proceeded to shake the Selectmen’s hands and thank them for her appointment, meeting minutes state.

The selectmen approved the hiring unanimously.
