The Town of Madison is accepting applications for the position of Cafeteria Worker. This position is located in the Senior Services Department of the Town. Completed applications must be received in the Human Resources Department no later than 4:00 p.m. on August 12, 2016. Application forms may be obtained in the Human Resources Department, 8 Campus Drive, Madison, CT 06433; or, applications can be submitted from the website at www.madisonct.org.

Minimum Training and Experience Required To Perform Essential Job Functions: High School diploma or equivalent with six (6) months of food service experience. Experience working with a senior population and/or volunteer group is highly desirable. Ability to obtain ServSafe Certification within six (6) months from date of employment is required. Valid Connecticut Driver’s License is required. Candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Position Purpose: The purpose of the position is to prepare and serve meals and to clean kitchen area in accordance with regulations and requirements. Assists in the preparation of kitchen for daily operations; serves meals; cleans and sanitizes kitchen area. Performs other functions as required.
