Madison Investment Center Holds Open House At Its New Home
Move from Wall Street to Boston Post Road complete, Holiday Open House packed Thursday night.
The Holiday Open House at the Madison Investment Center's new home at 206 Boston Post Road, on the west side of town, was packed Thursday night.
Cars were double-parked in large parking lot out front as guests inside mingled, had a few drinks, and enjoyed food from Cloud 9 Catering.

The move to the new location took place recently, but had been in the works for several years. For the past 13 years, The Madison Investment Center leased a building next to the library that belonged to the library. The library at some point plans to expand. When the investment center found out about that several years ago, they acquired the building on the west side of town and started planning the move.
Kim Chorney from the investment center said they evaluated other parts of town, but decided the west side of town would be ideal for their needs and the kind of traffic they want to attact.

"We did look at both side of towns and had traffic patterns done. This area just had more traffic for our own visibility and the ease of our clients," she said. She said that having several other business plazas nearby added to the appeal of the west side location.
The views of the salt marsh at sunset are an added attraction, she said.
"It is a beautiful view of theh salt marsh," Chorney said. "It really is. From the second floor you can see all the way out. It is a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere."
