Madison Lawmaker to Co-Chair Meeting on Banning Smoking in Vehicles When Minors Present

State Representative Henry Genga (D-East Hartford) and State Representative Noreen Kokoruda (R-Madison) will co-chair the first meeting of a bipartisan working group that will examine the issue of smoking in a vehicle with minors present.

The first meeting will address the working group goals, guests and meeting times. Legislation was unsuccessfully proposed last session calling for a ban on smoking in vehicles with children present.
