Mr. Deaton said: “I’ve sung many solo concerts on the Shoreline, but what makes this different is that we are asking the audience to help choose the program. I, of course, have some ideas on what I’d like to sing, but nothing is off-limits. If you have an idea, visit our website and let us know.”
Madison Lyric Stage musical director Eric Trudel will lead the evening. Special guests include Carly Callahan and John Johmann (Eva and Ché in this summer’s MLS production of Evita) and mezzo-soprano Susan Yankee (Herodias in this summer’s Salomé).
Tickets are $30 and can be reserved by visiting madisonlyricstage.org or calling 203-779-5258. Tickets are also available at RJ Julia in Madison.
